Elizabeth LeFevre Long

LeFevre is also spelled Ferber, LaFevre, LaFever, Lefebre, LeFever,and LeFevere. It is from the original Northern French surname Lefebvre or Lefèvre. It means smith.

Elizabeth LeFevre Long was born September 3, 1809 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Jacob LeFever and Rebecca Bachtell.

She married Wesley Long on April 4, 1845 in Fairfield County, Ohio. Wesley was born in 1811 in Amanda Township, Fairfield County, Ohio. He was the son of James Long and Margaret Lamb.

In 1860 Wesley age 49 and Elizabeth age 50 were in Lancaster, Amanda Township, Fairfield County, Ohio. They were living with 11 year old Sarah Williamson.

In 1880 Elizabeth was living with her sister, Rebecca Swope's, family.

Elizabeth died on September 27, 1886.
